About the Artist

Lisa Dalton is an artist living and painting in Louisville Kentucky.  From an early age, Lisa would love to draw and color.  Later in life she received her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art from Lake Forest College.  Art was placed on the side burner after college, and she did not return to painting until recently.

Lisa draws inspiration from observing everyday life in Kentucky, vacationing on Cape Cod, and travels abroad.  She works exclusively in oil on canvas or panel.  Her paintings visually explore the beauty of nature and the world around her.  She tries to capture the light, shadows and vibrant colors.

Besides painting, Lisa enjoys her family, gardening, traveling, and cooking.
